There Are many attractions within and around Ingleton, Below is a small selection.The Beechtree cottages is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is only a short drive to the west coast resorts of Blackpool, Morecombe, and only a few miles from the Lake district and the Forest of Bowland. There are Many Attactions to see and do and we have a large selection of leaflets an brochures at the cottages.

Pubs - Eating Out - In the Village

The most common question people ask is "Are there any pubs & places to eat within walking distance" A 10 Min stroll into the village and theres a selection of Pubs and Restaurants offering usual English & Italian style fare. There are also Many cafe's & tea rooms and take aways within the Village so If you don't want to cook you don't have to. Our personal favorites for food are the Wheatsheaf Inn & The Marton Arms, For Livley Entertainment you can try the Craven Heifer the Masons or the Three Horseshoes. If your are a Steak lover and you enjoy your wine then a short trip to the Orange Tree in Kirby Lonsdale is a must.

Ingleton - Distance 10 Minutes Easy Walk

Ingleton is famous for its spectacular Scenery, Waterfalls walk and caves. There are Pubs, General Stores/Shops, a post office cafes, restaurants & take aways all within walking distance. Ingleton is very much a tourist village and is very welcoming and friendly without being overcrowded or spoilt with large volumes of traffic. Ingleton has an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, indoor climbing walls, And a newly built childrens play area.

Fells - Starts at Village

Directly from the village you can ascend the 2,373 feet of Ingleborough and take in the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales from it's summit. For the more experienced, try the Three Peaks Challenge , with Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent offering 25 miles of outstanding natural beauty.

Waterfalls Walk - Dist - Starts in Village

The famous Waterfalls Walk has some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in the North of England. The walk is 4.5 miles/8 kilometres through ancient oak woodland and magnificent Dales scenery via a series of spectacular waterfalls and geological features. Outdoor Pool - Dist - In Village

The Station House Pottery

Built in 1850, this was the main line station for Kirkby Lonsdale. Now it has a new lease of life as the Pottery Art and Craft Tearoom. In our workshop there is everything you need to decorate a piece of ceramic, which you will be able to take home in less than one hour. Choose from a wide selection of white ceramic items, and personalise them with our special paint, which, when baked in our oven, is fixed, food and dishwasher safe. Ribblehead station is 10 minutes drive from Ingleton. Yorkshire Dales Falconry & Wildlife Conservation Centre. Dist - 5 Miles

Since the centre's creation in 1991, it has provided the public a glimpse into the sport of falconry as well as an insight to various birds of prey. Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway
